Street Patrol is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that helps save lives by meeting the homeless where they are, directly on the streets.
STREET PATROL MISSION
We are descendants of warriors, who protected those, who explored and shared their knowledge and wisdom. As their descendants we give aid and comfort to people in need, poor, homeless, and those who society has turned its back on. We do not condemn nor judge. We reach out with open hearts and hands.
Street Patrol Outreach is our Street Team that supplies the unhoused community with blessings in a bag every other Monday night at 7pm. Please view the calendar for the current activities.

Invest In Yourself Program
Street Patrol's "Invest In Yourself" Program mentors youth on site at the St. Louis City & Belleville, IL Juvenile Detention Centers located at 920 Vandeventer Ave, St. Louis, MO 63108 & 9006 Lebanon Rd, Belleville, IL 62223 with alternative options for navigating life through mentors who grew up in the same areas and overcame similar struggles with a focus on Financial Literacy, Character Building, and the Importance of Education.
Joe hit the ground running with Street Patrol from day 1. He can take and dish out the jones/laughs with the rest of the team. Joe shows up for Monday night outreach with sandwiches in hand (although he might be late, UGHH). He assists with Street Patrol's 10-Fold Gala planning, securing donations, and social media.

Can you share a story that illustrates your passion and drive to volunteer, particularly for the unhoused community?
My passion for volunteering comes from many things and people. My father, for one. I have seen his work and that of his colleagues up close and its impact on people. Also, I have always wanted to be a good person and do good. I’m certain I have not always been that, but I have tried my best to be, and giving back helps. I do not do it for me, but I do benefit, so to some extent, it helps me, too. Most importantly, the conditions in which the unhoused live and what they have to deal with every day, hour, and minute are truly unfortunate and heartbreaking. I want to help when and where I can. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to live in such a vulnerable state, so I hope to help in any way I can. Even if the assistance is temporary, it can make a difference.
What motivates you to support Street Patrol? Have you spearheaded any projects?
I support Street Patrol because it is real. It is genuine and sincere. Many companies and organizations reference “Boots on the ground.” Boots on the ground is the literal definition of Street Patrol. In the trenches, working, regardless of weather conditions or the size of the team on that given Monday. A true commitment to the people. Every person we serve has their own story and what brought them to their situation. Irrelevant to the why or the backstory is the present tense. They need help NOW. Giving in real-time to whoever is out is the most direct way of giving I know. That is what I like most about Street Patrol.
I believe I help by being present. I wish I could do more. I am a busy person, but when I can, I am there. I have assisted with planning the upcoming 10th Anniversary Gala, Social Media Admin, Raffles/Giveaways, and any other things asked of me.
What was the most memorable moment of your experience with Street Patrol?
The first time I went out for Street Patrol was the most memorable experience. Seeing it in action was enough for me to know that Street Patrol was the ideal organization for me to help with.
